Entry 20: Cyberwellness - Cyber Addiction
My favourite conputer game is clubpenguin. I spend 30 minutes on the computer once a week. It has not affected my daily routine. I will only play the computer once a week for at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. I will tell them not to play the computer everyday or it will wear spectacles.
Entry 19: Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils
I think the school's preventive measures for H1N1 such as temperature-taking, no assembly in the hall, cancellation of remedial lessons, CCA and other activities are good. The cancellation of my CCA and high achievers have affected me. I don't think that the school is less interesting now as I can go back home early. My relationship with my teachers and friends have affected me a little because I have not meet them for a long time. I prepare for my CA1 with the extra time I have. The activites outside school did not affected me.

Task 3
Your sister has bought a new piggy bank gift for her best friend. Upon seeing the present, her best friend returned it to her immediately and said that its material gives a clear view of the amount of coins and dollar notes she has put into it and she does not like the idea.
Your sister looks at the piggy bank again and she cannot figure out what is wrong with the material of the piggy bank. Your sister approaches you for help.
She needs you to tell her what is wrong with the choice of the material for the piggy bank and what would be a better material in this case. As this gift is quite costly, she wants you to come up with solutions to alter the design of the piggy bank by ensuring that people cannot see the amount of coins and dollar notes put in.
You're to encouraged to present your ideas to your sister creatively.
Answer :
My sister can paint the piggy bank OR wrap it with a wrapping paper before giving it to her best friend. Using opaque material is better as people can't see through it and thus people would not know how much you have save.

Self- Discipline
There is one boy named Tom. Tom was a very lazy and had no self- discipline boy. Whenever the teacher gives work, he will shout loudly :'' WHAT! More work?!'' He will always hand up his work late as he always plays his PSP when he gets home.
Then one day, the teacher gave a surprise test and said :'' Class, listen up this test will be counted 10% of your CA1 test, you will be given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete it." 1 hour 15 minutes had past and Tom have difficulties in doing some question, he has already left out 15 question. "Times up! Please put down your pens" said the teacher. Tom was rushing to complete his paper, when his teacher noticed him and stopped him.
The very next day, the teacher returned the test papers to the class. "Hurray! I've scored full marks!" exclaimed Shanon. Tom looked at his paper in dismay, as he had only scored 28/50. The teacher told the class to bring it home and get it signed. When Tom showed the test papers to his parents, his parents looked at him furiously and scold him. They had also confiscated his PSP.
From that day onwards, Tom had decided to turn over a new leaf. Everyday when he came back from school, he would take his lunch then do his homework.

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)
I use light to do my homework, my brother uses light to play his toys, my mother uses light to pack her things, my father uses light to watch television and my maid uses light to cook.
Light helps me and my family to see things around us clearly, do my homework, watch television and cook.
Life would be boring as we can't do our work, and the plants will die as they can't make food without light so will the herbivores because they only feed on plants so when the plants die, there will be no food for them.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness
I think that my classroom is not clean as people litter on the floor like throwing eraser dusts etc. I think it is important to keep our classroom clean because if we don't keep the classroom clean there will be germs everywhere. I can keep the classroom clean by not littering on the floor. The classroom cleaning activity that I participate in is sweeping the floor. I learnt that keeping the classroom clean is as important as keeping our hands clean. The values are self-discipline and courage.

Entry 16: Influenza A H1N1
Influenza A H1N1 is a swine flu virus. It spreads when people sneeze without covering their nose, cough without covering their mouth. The affected countries are Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Hong Kong, Phlippine and Singapore. They quarantined anyone who are found to have the H1N1 symtoms such as fever, flu and cough. Yes, taking temperature is effective as fever is one of the symtoms. Anyone who travelled to those affected countries must stay at home for a week. When I see anyone who coughs, I will not go near them.
Entry 15: SA 1 Review
Yes, all the papers is considered a fair test because all the questions that was tested, we had already learn them. I think that I did not do well in this semester as I did not studied hard enough. The remedial or enrichment classes in school were useful as it helps us pull up our marks. I think my tuition helps a lot in my studies. I will study harder by doing assessments. I think the school should give us more work to do.

Respect
Tommy was a mischievous boy who always like to play pranks on others. There was once, he put a toy spider on his teacher, Ms Tay's chair. When Ms Tay sat down on the chair, she felt something funny on the chair, so she got up and see what is it. To her horror, Ms Tay saw the spider.
Ms Tay was startled and started screaming loudly. Tommy giggled whole heartedly behind Ms Tay's back. Ms Tay noticed Tommy and went up to him." Why are you giggling, were you the one who put the spider on my chair?" asked Ms Tay angrily. All the other students looked at Tommy. Tommy felt guilty and admitted it." Ye...Ye...Yes, I was the one." Ms Tay punished Tommy severely and also brought Tommy to the principal office. The principal decided to not let Tommy come to school for two weeks.
After this incident, Tommy decided to turn over a new leaf and never want to play pranks on others anymore.

I like the Computer Lab because there are computer that we can use to blog but sometimes, some of the computer are not working.I think that the toilet can be improve because sometimes there are no toilet papers and it is smelly.I think that the hall can be improve by installing air-con so that when we have oral, we won't feel the heat of the sun.The student can help by not littering on the floor instead they can throw the rubbish in the dustbin so that the environment would be clean and pupils would not fall sick easily.

Entry 3: My Visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital
Dear friends,
Last Saturday, I went to the Thye Hua Kuan Hospital. I saw many sick and injured patients in the hospital. Some of them were even crying. One of them said that he was run over a motorbike and was injuired seriously.
After I saw all the patients, I felt sad because they could not go home to celebrate Chinese New Year with their family. I also felt a little happy as they were on the road of recovery.
I learnt that there were also some people who are less fortunate than me. I will join more helpful activities to help the less fortunate people.
I think I can offer my service to the community by being kind and helpful to my neighbours and my friends as well as my family.

Entry 1: Blog Netiquette
Hi friends,
I think netiquette is stealing other people's things without their permission, and I think it is wrong to do that .How will you feel if someone steals your copyright? This is how I will feel:I would feel angry when someone steals or take my copyright without my permission.
